Hey RIMC'ers
It's my great pleasure to have in the lounge this weekend the
band, Most People.
This unit features a friend of mine named Lisa Couto,
a vocal talent that touches my musical heart deeply. She gave
me goosebumps the very first time I heard her sing many years
ago. I truly enjoyed her filling in with my former band
JustUzII at a time when we fondly called each other "Sandra" (me
calling her that for thinking she looked like Sandra Bullock)
and "Natalie" (for her thinking I look like Natalie Cole) and we
still do to this day. Most People
is an original music band and their stuff is so nicely done.
Lisa is also lead singer and guitarist with her other unit ' Gypsy.'

FundRaiser
I am
presently working on our very first RIMC fundraiser event which
is going to be a Jazz Dinner Cruise event that
is tentatively scheduled for September aboard the Harbor Queen,
a yacht that holds about 120 persons. Our Jazz entertainment is
hopefully going to be my big sister, Shawnn Monteiro.
I have added a survey on the very first page of the website
that I would like you all to take to help me determine the day
and time of the event. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Female Vocalist Needed!
Hey RIMC'ers-
Denny Mendez and Dougie Grace
of the new unit, STRAIGHT UP, are in
need of a female vocalist! Even if a few of you could fill in
until they find a permanent lead vocalist, it would really
help. Let's do our best to help them out! Can't wait to see
